The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

This is an exceedingly beautiful poem. This stanza, for example: “The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew, The furrow followed free; We were the first that ever burst Into that silent sea.”
- Shakespeare’s Sonnets. I’ve recently been getting into poetry and feel obligated to read through his sonnets. My favorite is Sonnet 73.
- Confessions. I’m rereading it more slowly to try to digest it more than I did the first time.
- Madame Bovary. I’m reading the Lydia Davis translation and really enjoying it.
- The Brothers Karamazov. I began reading it in 2023 but stopped after 300 pages. I’ve begun it again and am trying to finish it.
